This is all travellyr's fault. I made an offhand reference to Grand Line Weyr in the main Naruto/Pern AU, and this kind of... happened.

Or I'm just sadly addicted to freaking Pern AUs. Whichever. This Grand Line Weyr is in the same 'verse as Konoha Weyr, in my head at least (I suppose that means the beyond-awful Gundam Wing Pern AU I wrote eight years ago is as well. LOL). This is mostly a lark, but I got a kick out of writing it, so here it is in case others might be somewhat amused as well.
