So I recently sent serrende a couple of sketches featuring Luffy and Usopp and Zoro, which she informed me I should share a little more widely. These are now HER pictures, really, but nonetheless, here they are for public viewing :P

They're not terribly polished... I always leave my pencil lines in because when I erase them I find the pictures look kind of naked (serrende's scan plus cleanup has made them look tidier, though). Anyway, without further ado:

Yes, stick people! I did this for oh_shit_santa's Stick-Figure "challenge", hehe. I decided to make "art" of my One Piece vampire!Sanji AU, though this can easily just be taken as fantasy-themed Mugiwara, or Halloween, in a pinch ^_~

So I bought this off ebay because it was a great deal for a 200-page One Piece yaoi anthology. And I didn't realize until I started leafing through it that I hadn't paid quite enough attention to the cover, or I would've been even happier:

A quick flip through reveals less actual sex than I'd like, but almost all the art is to my liking, and there's some excellent crack. The modern-day AU one where Zoro and Sanji have hamster versions of themselves, for example.

Someone else posted the bits she did for the op_fanforall anonymous meme over at one_piece, so I guess it's okay for me to "claim" mine, or whatever. At least I can have 'em de-typo'd, and be able to store them on my fic list.

I can't wait for the trailer to actually get released online so there are clearer versions of that image. I just about died and went to heaven when I saw their outfits. Zoro, Sanji, Robin and Usopp (pinstripes!!!! Or, whatever--but stripes!) especially... ::fans self::

Brook's wearing his normal clothes, but then he's so awesome on his own that it doesn't matter. Hot damn, I hope the story lives up to the costuming, but if it's from Oda, I'm not that worried.

Recently I got some One Piece stuff that I really love. I found a lovely little gashapon diorama right from one of the Colour Walk books, a model of the Thousand Sunny, and the extremely delectable Shanks. Those things were all purchases I made myself--I also got an unexpected package in the mail from a friend of the family, a guy who used to be a Japanese homestay student at our house. He went and got me a couple of One Piece puzzles!
