Fitting Back In - G. Usopp + Sanji. The first night on the Sunny, Usopp gets some reassurance about his place among the crew. Originally written as anon at the [info]op_fanforall.

Old Habits - G. Zoro + Chopper. Zoro discovers Chopper doing something from his old life. Originally written as anon at the [info]op_fanforall.

Granted - G. Zoro + Luffy and general nakamship. Luffy does, actually, have nightmares. Zoro wonders about them. (Now there's art for this one! Thank you, [info]tappi_tee!)

Special Handling - G. Usopp + Luffy nakamaship. Luffy finds a tiny stowaway on Merry.

Art Lesson - G. Usopp + Nami nakamaship. Usopp shows Nami how to draw more than just maps.

The Vampire!Sanji AU
So named because it started from a prompt to make Sanji a vampire. >:D Now listed in chronological timeline order. Strange Bedfellows was the first one written, originally.

Small Common Ground No pairing. PG, AU. Sanji meets Usopp.

That Other First Time Usopp/Sanji. NC-17. Prequel/sidestory to Strange Bedfellows. Sanji, at sixteen, comes into the main part of his vampiric heritage, but doesn't know why he's not after blood.

Ashes, Part 1 and Ashes, Part 2. Usopp/Sanji NC-17. Ace is caught, Krieg returns and Sanji's home burns.

Strange Bedfellows Zoro/Sanji NC-17. AU. Zoro hunts vampires. Thus, Sanji's nightly routine is interrupted. Originally written as anon at the [info]op_fanforall

Safe Harbour Nami/Sanji. NC-17. Nami. Sanji. Ice storm strands the rest off-ship. See rating for further clues as to what happens next.

Grand Line Weyr
Fusion AU of One Piece and Pern, primarily focused on Smoker/Ace. No Pern-canon locations are mentioned here, and dragonrider names are not shortened. Rider sexuality is not indicated by dragon colour, beyond a dragon of opposite sex to the rider indicating bisexuality at least (no dragon will impress a rider who would be put through excessive unpleasentness at every mating flight).

Hatching Hitch - G. Pre-Smoker/Ace. Smoker usually enjoyed hatchings. Ace usually disrupted his routines.

Mating Flight - NC-17. Smoker/Ace. In the aftermath of a mating flight, Smoker finds that letting go might actually give him something else to hold onto.

Fall, Catch - NC-17. Smoker/Ace. After a rough Threadfall, Ace means to help Smoker unwind, but it doesn't go as smoothly as he expected.

Old and New Gifts - PG-13. Smoker/Ace. In which Ace loses something, forgets something else, Smoker is a dick, and then is sorry.

Fire Lizard Flight - NC-17. Smoker/Ace. Or Ace/Smoker, really. Ace and Smoker's fire lizards reach maturity.

The writings here can probably be classified as fluffy, possibly schmoopy. And the porn is, uh, porny. No darkfic or mindfuckery. But I do thoroughly enjoy hurt/comfort, so there is also some whumping and angst along the way.

This is a Naruto/Neji series. There are some het pairings, but not central.

The list is in chronological order for the storyline. The different parts were written out of order over a long time, so feel free to point out any inconsistancies.

Please note: Any canon taking place after the Sasuke-in-a-bucket arc never happened in this universe.

The Risk -- PG (violence). Ninjas can lose anything, at anytime.

The Limits of Blood -- G. Even Naruto can't beat everything.

Standing By -- PG-13. Neji reacts after Hinata is sealed. I don't really like this one anymore, I wrote it in 2005, but write it I did, and this is where it goes. ::wince::.

Coming Home -- G. Naruto brings home two orphans. Neji realizes something about family.

Taking Care -- G. Neji reflects on caring.

21 Days -- R (sex). Follows immediately after Taking Care. Neji is late after a mission. Meanwhile, Naruto buys a clue.

Caught -- NC-17. PWP. Threesome-but-not-really. Written for [info]myrafur for the [info]oh_shit_santa exchange.

Return -- NC-17. PWP, pretty much. Post-mission comfort sex.

Choice of Words -- PG (swearing). Makoto speaks without thinking.

Lost -- PG (language, violence). Ninja children are supposed to be strong.

Tattoos -- G. It's all about family.

A Point on the Line to Adulthood -- G. OC-centric. Akemi stumbles over one hurdle of growing up female. (this was an incredibly belated Christmas present for [info]caitlin_chan)

Riskverse: The Next Generation

This is OC-centric. Makoto grew up and had his own story. The very height of self-indulgence, eh?

Safe Zone -- PG (violence, language). Hazuki always wakes Makoto when he gets back.

Negligence -- PG-15 (violence, language). Hazuki isn't used to working with others. An escort mission to Suna demonstrates this at Makoto's expense.

Interim One -- PG-13 (some language) Makoto and Hazuki are separately angry about the Suna incident.

Interim Two -- NC-17 (unpleasent sex) Makoto and Hazuki kind of pine for each other while with others. Hazuki doesn't realize that's what he's doing.

Not Quite Normal --NC-17 (masturbation) Makoto comes home. Hazuki gets confused.

Look and See --NC-17 (Sex!!) Hazuki has a bad mission, comes home and latches on to Makoto

Epilogue -- PG-13 (language) Worse consequences than Hazuki could ever have imagined. (Supposed to be humor)

Post-series snapshot: Culmination --NC-17 (sex) Hazuki was right. Makoto did enjoy it.

Naruto + Dragonriders of Pern AU (WIP)

The worlds seem to go together pretty darn well, when I started thinking about it. And Pern is an excellent setting for hurt/comfort, sexual repression, danger, and all sorts of fun things.

This series includes: Naruto/Neji, Sakura/Sasuke, Kiba/Shino/Hinata, Lee/Gaara, with room for anything else. Dragons rise to mate. Telepathically bonded riders end up in bed with each other. It's fun!

Prologue: Breaking Away -- PG. Sasuke leaves.

Chapter 1: Meeting -- G. Naruto meets Neji.

Chapter 2: Leaving -- PG-13. Neji thinks about Naruto's words and makes a decision.

Chapter 3: Landing -- G. Neji reaches Konoha Weyr

Chapter 4: Trusting -- PG-13 (swearing). Naruto finds out what Neji's been hiding.

Chapter 5: Reaching - PG-13 (swearing). Neji gets to help Naruto for once, but discovers something he didn't want to know about himself.

Chapter 6: Stumbling - PG-13 (swearing). Naruto miscalculates. Neji panics.

Chapter 7: Staring Across the Divide - PG-13 (swearing, mild violence). Visitors to the Weyr bring trouble.

Chapter 8: Relative Importance - PG (injury). Neji gets a shift in perspective.

Chapter 9: The Attack - PG-13 (violence). Strangers from Suna herald trouble for Konoha.

Chapter 10: Recovery - G. It never goes back to the way it used to be.

Chapter 11: The Hatching - G. The long-awaited hatching.

Chapter 12: Gold Night - R (sexual stuff). The influence of goldflights.

Chapter 13: Touching Base - G. Neji spends some time with Naruto, but even side by side, Naruto has pulled ahead.

Chapter 14: Next Impression - PG (violence). The candidates stand for the next hatching, with some unexpected upheavals.

Chapter 15: Repercussions - PG (little bit of language). Naruto returns to training. The weyrlings weather the aftermath of a bad 'Fall.

Chapter 16: Testing the Wings - PG-15 (sexual stuff). Flying. Finally.

Chapter 17: Seizing the Moment - NC-17 (sexual stuff). Midnight goldflight, and Naruto and Neji cross paths.

Chapter 18: Best Laid Plans - PG-13 (language). Gathers are for shopping, eating and drinking.

Chapter 19: Persistence - NC-17 (sex). Between training is rough on some riders. Naruto avoids, Neji presses.

I just read through your Pern AU - you did a great job projecting a future Pern and keeping the guys true to themselves- Loved it!

I originally came here for your Naruto/Gaara fic (Which was hot!) and now I am wondering what will happen with Gaara in Pern. I like stories that keep me wondering.

Before I dive into reading the Pern AU (instead of working on my final project, STILL), I just have to say something.

What is it with Pern? Everyone writes a Pern AU. Everyone. I did it, and it was horrible enough that I am giddily thankful it never saw the light of DAY, let alone the light of internet. You did it, countless others have done it. There are RPGs up to our armpits about it. Everyone writes Pern AU. Everyone, for every fandom, ever. If Rule 34 is "if it exists, there is porn of it, no exceptions," Rule 35 has got to be "if it has a fandom, there is a Pern crossover with it, no exceptions."

And what is it with Pern that I want to read them all, too? XD Just... What is it with Pern? ^^;;;

Honestly, I don't know! My first long fic (omg, it was so bad) was a Gundam Wing Pern AU (also glad it never saw the light of day), written I'm sure because I also spent time in a Pern RP... I think it's an easy template to transplant onto!

Did you ever read Patricia C Wrede's "Talking to Dragons" series? It's a bit young for us now (the books are in the YA section), but I loved them, and I loved the dragons in them. They're not tame dragons, by any stretch... but they are practical. And some are laid-back, some are grouchy, some are biased, some are old and sleep a lot... :3

I loved those books. Morwen was awesome too. And I remember being totally stymied, like Cimorene, the first time Kazul was explaining how she could be King of the dragons... LOL.

When I was in sixth grade, we had to do oral reports on whatever, and I chose dragons. :D As I recall, by then I'd already read Pern and Wrede's books too, lol, I remember a few lines--I made a point how dragons were interpreted differently so I mentioned the ones from the Enchanted Forest Chronicles that got to choose their gender, and how Pernese ones were mind-bonded.

1) the books really kind of suck, and 2) many, many people who play in the world kind of shunt the interesting things aside in favor of 'i r teh beautiful & teh powerful & u must s3xx0rz me.'

1 = trufax, sadly (and McCaffrey's a little batty about some things too, I think, you ever read her theory about homosexuality?), but damn they were so awesome when I found them at nine ot ten or whatever (the Harperhall boks first, though Menolly really is a Mary Sue, isn't she?), and I read and reread them well into my teens. Joined the RP (Moonset Weyr) when I was... hmmm, 17-18? And was there for four years, so that taught me not to have too much of 2, since that RP really had the day-to-day and minutia of the world. Or at least our version of it. And all character sheets had to be approved, so Mary Sue types and traits were weeded out, and people who did stupid stuff got reprimanded and punished...

I remember one player whose weyrling kept acting out in silly and attention-mongering ways, so she was knocked back to a younger weyrling class (like Naruto, but for disciplinary reasons). And in that club, that was a pretty big deal for your character's lifestyle, because it was all real time. If you played a weyrling from Impression onward... (and people seemed to like having newly-Impressed dragons rather than creating full-fledged riders) you were a weyrling for like 18 months in real life.

Your RP was set up really similar to the games over at Seiryuu. I approve of detailed charsheets!

As for newly-impressed dragons... I think people just wanted The Full Experience, and forgot that they could MAKE their own backstories and even post it in a separate thread for their own personal fanwank. That very thing happens a lot at Seiryuu, and we actually all love it- or the ones who don't? Simply don't read. It's like omakes for characters we love, our own and others. <3

Menolly can be thought of as a Mary Sue, but she's not BAD. I'd say she's more of a twink than a Mary Sue... and it's okay, because all the 8-to-12-year-old girls love reading about her, so it's fine. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to original fiction. As long as my eyes don't bleed and the story is entertaining, we're all good. :3

All this talk of the Pern RP has me inspired... nothing will likely come of it, though. I spend far too much time creating characters for RPs I have no time to actually play. ^^;;
Still, the women of the lower caverns would be fun. Bossing around and feeding people FTW.

Well, she said in a interview once that a man she knew who was previously straight was raped with a tent peg (I'm not really sure how this came up) and because of this, he became homosexual. Like, that anal penetration can turn people gay:

Bit kooky, there o_O It essentially makes it that any man could Impress green, and would "turn" gay. Then later on she said instead that the greens pick up on hormonal cues or whatever to know which boys are gay. Oh well--I still appreciate that she had them in the books at all. That theory doesn't show up in the actual stories after all.

My old RP was a play-by-email with a quarterly published zine, so plenty of space to write their own stories, though I expect newbies were pretty much doing as you said--when you're totally new it seems more right to start with a fresh hatchling, I guess. I thought so anyway!

Talking about it makes me want to do it again too... but I think I've given over my energies to fanfic, and I wonder, I might chafe at not being able to control other peoples' characters o_O

Moonset really was super-organized, though. There were big timeline files to check your birthdates and other milestones against ('cause we used Pernese dating) and lists of hatchings. There were a myriad of mailing lists to keep everyone organized--everyone was on General and Announcements, and depending what characters you had, you were in Weyrling Group 32 and Windrunner High Altitude Wing and Spraypoint Hold, or whatever. It ran like a well-oiled machine. Then I ended up with too many characters, including two weyrlingmasters, and it had become work, so I had to retire... Ah, good times though.

Good point about Menolly--twink sounds closer. You know, I loved her so much that I actually had trouble re-reading the first book because I would get so angry at her stupid backwards family. Ha! And I loved her fire lizards..

Though this does beg the question of if anyone remembers LUBE for the green flights... Is it a pre-emptive thing? Are you capable of remembering to open a jar in the heat of the moment? Because that could be a reason why so many green riders are damn cranky, right there.

Back at Moonset, mating flights happened at specific mating weyrs--not at the rider's own weyr. When I started writing my "epic" Gundam Wing Pern AU thingy, I used the same idea, and decided that they were stocked with oil/salve/whatever the Pernese use as lube.

However, I have a funny feeling Anne McCaffrey didn't think about that detail...

Maybe the available salve is actually for the morning after... XD

I prefer to imagine that nothing would happen that would be rough enough to really hurt anyone (after all, both participants are after the same thing), and that in the heat of a flight the bottom is caught up enough to a) be relaxed enough to prevent injury and b) not care/notice if it hurts a little.

Or, hey! Alternatively, the greenrider could go prepare himself ahead of time. Actually--that's pretty practical. I can see them all in sex ed, or whatever passes for that, call it "mating flights and you," getting tips like that. Like, green dragon is all "rawrr, I fly soon," guy gets dropped off, slips into the back for a few minutes to take care of that (not like he wouldn't be in the mood enough to do so), and voila. Lovely slippery sex.

Though depending how vehement you think dragon-fuelled sex gets, I'm pretty sure there's aching the morning after, lube or no lube.

Yeah, the self-preparation was kind of what I was thinking, especially the second and subsequent times, just because I cannot see anyone calling time-out in the middle of things. XD

you are one of my favorite Naruto/Neji authors. And trust me when I say, I have a very short list of that. hehe You can never find good fic on those two, but you are good, very good. I love your work and I cant wait to read more of it. ( kneeling and bowing before you) :)

Yeah, it was a pretty bad fic, but it was fantastically funny in the way it was written. I was looking for it in order to send it to a friend who loves horses in order to scar her for life... (who said i was a nice person)
